i won't let you go away this time
i happened to be going through my galapagos pictures the other day and found quite a few which i liked yet hitherto hadn't picked out, processed and posted. i did take a lot of photographs though, and i remember that going through them the first time was quite a chore, so i suppose it's not surprising that some would slip through the cracks. these hands belong to a couple of marine iguanas - and i like how this shot, or more specifically the crop, is open to interpretation. you could see it as an affectionate moment between two loving creatures, or you could see at as something far more possessive and sinister. i kept switching between each interpretation so i decided to choose a title which, singled out of context, was equally as equivocal.
