closer comes the screaming knife
a few weeks ago a friend sent me this message:
you have to download a hbo documentary called the jinx - the life and many deaths of robert durst. incredible!!!!
i trust his recommendations anyway, but the excessive use of exclamation marks gave me extra encouragement, so i started watching it without knowing anything about it beyond the slightly mysterious title. what followed were 6 episodes of the most astonishing documentary i've ever seen. i really, really want to write a big long post about it, but i also don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. so all i'll do is implore you to eschew any form of research and get hold of the series whatever way you can - trust me and my friend, it's incredible!!!!
