in the arms of all i'm keeping here with me
when i was walking around marrakech i noticed that people were very reluctant to have their picture taken. it was frustrating as i missed out on capturing some amazing faces, but i completely respect their choice not to be photographed. other times people would allow themselves to be photographed, but only if they got some money out of it. again i don't think that's bad, after all i'm asking them for the favour, they're not putting on an act and asking to get paid. however the whole experience made me think back on my time in madagascar where almost everyone i asked was happy to oblige, and those who declined did so with a smile on their face. how can you not love a country with such smiley, happy people?
