may you never feel this alone
i've tried to capture loneliness and melancholy in hammocks and benches before but i think this anthropomorphised plant expresses it best. i took this in a very rainy rainforest in madagascar where i struggled with keeping my camera from getting too wet or too steamed up. while it was very frustrating, i don't think this photo would look like it did if it wasn't for those conditions. probably some kind of lesson somewhere in there.
