the hunter and the fisherman
in between hanging with the monkeys of senda verde and getting to arequipa in peru i travelled to the pampas in bolivia. it was a choice between there and the jungle, and whilst the jungle sounds cooler the pampas have more wildlife. i wasn't sure what it would be like to look at these animals after spending so much time in close contact when i was volunteering. actually it was good to see how they behave in their natural habitat. it turns out birds like to catch their own food as opposed to munch on freshly baked bird cake - who knew?
