all your pain will end here
i updated this site with a little redesign yesterday - which if all goes well you probably won't notice at all. that's got to be the least satisfying redesign ever. the update was to try and make the site work better on mobile devices - which i began after i used my friends samsung galaxy last week. before that the photoblog was optimised for desktop and ipod/iphone users. this was a mainly self-centred approach to creating a site as i had both a desktop and small apple device, so it was easy to test and build. it was pretty revelatory last week when i realised that other people existed - and those people may be using different machines to me. wait realise isn't the right word... care, that's what i meant to say, care. anyways now there's the small iphone version, the large desktop version and something for all those inbetweeners. i still don't have any inbetween machines to do real life testing, so if you do, i hope this latest build gives an improved browsing experience - see, that's my new caring side.
