soon i will follow
it took me a while to figure out dee, the labrador above who is navigating the field of bluebells. she always seemed to have a fairly apathetic quality compared to other dogs that i met, which made her less endearing on the infrequent occasions i'd be in her neck of the woods. thankfully this didn't take too long to change when i returned from travelling and spent a few months living with her. i would receive enthusiastic greetings each time i walked in the front door, we'd bond over afternoon walks in the park and curl up together on the sofa in the evenings. and on my final night in her house before i moved to london she slept on the floor next to my bed. basically she learned that i could provide her with food so she started taking an interest in me - which i'm sure you'll agree is a strong basis for any relationship.
