little somerset planet
here's another little planet to add to my collection - this time of somerset house in central london. in order to capture the four sides of the building like this i had to stand directly in the centre of the courtyard - which you may be able to make out is full of spraying jets of water. ordinarily i'd feel pretty self-conscious about walking out into fountains of water to take a photo - particularly in a busy, bustling public space. fortunately most of the people (including myself) were there to see the world photography awards exhibition, which was full of weird and wonderful images, so walking into a strange place to take a photo was considered perfectly acceptable.
