this is the real life
this is a little sketch by my friend julie from when we went to the beach in cap ferret near bordeaux. i first met julie on my south american adventures in lima. whilst i documented my travels with my camera, she did the same with paintbrushes and sketchbooks, and as a result her travel pictures seemed a lot more cool and interesting. it was my first time at a beach since i went to alicante last year. well actually i went to brighton last year too, but a beach with no sand is no beach for me, and at the very least it was my first time in the sea since spain. the title came from an excited little boy on the beach who was telling his mother ca c'est la vraie vie!
