where all my troubles can't be found
when i first went to buenos aires i spent about a week there, although i didn't get to see a great deal as i was ill at the time. i then popped back to england for my sister's wedding while my mate stayed in the city. upon my return he was keen to move on, having spent over a week longer in the capital than me. there were still things that i wanted to see, but it seemed selfish to force him to stay even longer so we packed up and started travelling again. a month or so later we parted ways in chile and i had the choice of continuing my route by heading north, or switching back on myself to visit some other places in argentina which i had missed the first time around. i chose the latter option and ended up in buenos aires for a third time. it was a decision which i have absolutely no regrets about, and having visited all of the capitals in south america (apart from brazil and french guiana) it remains my favourite. i took this on my final visit to the city, from the top of palacio baralo. i already posted a version of this 3 years ago as part of a golden panorama, but i much prefer this more traditional interpretation.
