after my piggy bank of coins started to collapse i decided it was time to cash in and i divided up the collection into piles of 1 pennies, 2 pennies and 5 pennies. i had no idea exactly how much it was all worth, so i took all the 2 pence pieces to a bank round the corner that has a counting machine. turned out that there was 1500 individual coins, which equals £30 and a fairly sore back if you carry them in a rucksack. i left the 1 pence pieces in the hat and deposited the 5 pence pieces in this empty bottle of jack daniels. it's almost filling up to the neck so now i have a new decision to make, should i

a) continue this collection of 5 pennies until i fill the entire bottle

or

b) cash in the current collection of 5 pennies and buy more whiskey
