twilight galaxy
following on from yesterday's post here's an alternative festive tree that i took in stockeld park when i was up north over christmas. it was a winter wonderland type place which included an ice rink, a maze and an enchanted forest. i dismissed that last one as something just for the young kids, but it turned out to be my favourite part of the park. it's essentially a woodland trail which has been filled with illuminated sculptures, fabled characters and spooky sounds. so perfect for my young nieces who love disney stories about magical places, and perfect for me who loves taking long exposure photos. a lack of tripod made it slightly trickier, so i had to improvise with this shot and balance my camera on a fence.
