beneath the burning shoreline
i took this when i was up in the lake district over christmas, started working on it around new years and i'm finally getting around to posting it in mid-february. it didn't help that i kept changing my mind about how i wanted to process the photo, creating various layers in photoshop which bloated the file size and made it painful to edit with my slow computer. i've also been pretty busy the last few weeks, and when i've felt tired the prospect of fighting with photoshop in order to get this image completed was far from appealing. i'm sure if i think real hard i could come up with a couple of other excuses, but who cares, here's the version i settled on.
