i'm ok cos you're with me
back in february i mentioned that i had just started a new job which would involve some travelling. at the beginning of may i embarked on my first trip abroad, all the way to cape town in south africa. i had a week of work where i was paid to take photos, and then a week of holiday where i took photos for myself. it may not sound like it, but they were two very different weeks. the first involved very long days, very little sleep and a whole load of stress. the second week was mainly recovering from the first, and taking the kind of travel photography to which i'm more accustomed. this shot was pretty much the first photo i took during week one which wasn't part of my work. i was in an area called camps bay and when i saw how the sun was setting i rushed to the beach across the road to take a 5 minute break from my photography... to take some more photos. oh yeah, don't worry, i have a lot of photos.
