we live again
the first of october is always special day in this corner of the website, and this specific day even more so as it marks the tenth anniversary of the photoblog. in that time i've posted 1680 photos, which means i've been posting photos almost every other day for 10 years. well that seems pretty obsessive when i write it out like that. i've written multiple times in the past about how i get particularly inspired to take photos when i travel. but the truth is that i'm also equally inspired to go travelling so i can take photos. i think that's a really positive consequence of whatever this project is. it gets me out of the house. it encourages me to jump on a plane, climb up a mountain and slide down the other side. i've been to countless places that i never would have considered visiting ten years ago, and now if i see somewhere that looks cool i have a overpowering urge to go there and photograph it. so i'm feeling happy that i've spent ten years posting photos, as i interpret that as ten years going to cool places and seeing cool shit. and i ain't ready to quit that just yet.
