grow up and blow away
we went for a family stroll on the beach yesterday for boxing day. my nephew insisted we bring a bucket and spade for building sandcastles, although all we could cobble together was an empty flowerpot and a trowel. it was surprisingly effective and we were greeted by sunshine and patches of blue sky. however we were also greeted by unforgivingly strong winds which snatched the flowerpot away from us after two castles and blew it into the distance faster than the speed of sound. fearing the kids might be the next to go we thought that was a good sign to return to the car park.
