i don't care where just far away
usually before i go on a big trip i take a planning photo instead of actually planning. today i’m going on a trip where i’ve had no time to even pretend like i’m planning. and i probably should, as it’s to kyrgyzstan, a country where probably like you i know almost nothing about. in fact i initially picked it for that very reason, it was a strange word on my map which made me curious. i then looked on google images and i was blown away. i discovered that the country is almost 95% mountainous (ok maybe i do know a little more than you) and has been described as the patagonia of the middle east. and i thought patagonia was beautiful. so i’m going to see for myself over the next two and a half weeks. i think language might be my biggest issue, apparently everything is written in cyrillic, but i’m excited to arrive, pick up a map, and see where it leads.
