all of this is coming your way
it's usually christmas time when i go up to the lake district, and as such i usually associate the place with cold and wet weather. despite being in the middle of a national heatwave right now, the same was predicted last weekend and my raincoat was certainly needed on saturday morning. fortunately it didn't stick around too long, and the sun came out to paint the hills and mountains. whilst it's a platitude that can probably apply to almost anywhere, the lakes really is a different place when the sun is shining.
