at least something to make it from
usually when i travel, whether it’s by road or air, i like to have the window seat. that’s probably not too surprising as i like to look at the view and have the opportunity to take photos. it is however at odds with the desire to be comfortable which for me usually requires leg room. travelling around georgia by bus i quickly learnt that this usually meant taking the seat near the front by the door or the middle seat in the back. when i drove from tbilisi up to kazbegi i got the middle back seat which gave me ample leg room, but not the best view, so i only saw glimpses of this monument. on the journey back down i lucked out and got the seat by the door, so i could stretch out and still look out the window at the spectacular views. i ended up snapping away for most of the journey.
