in a cage, on a hill
here's a picture from my second visit to georgia in february. i would have posted it sooner, but towards the end of my time there i caught a virus which has knocked me out for the best part of a month. i asked the doctor if it was that virus after describing my symptoms and he replied "oh no, if it was corona you'd be feeling better by now", which wasn't quite as reassuring as i'd hoped. in general the conditions in georgia were perfect for snowboarding, except for the first day i took my camera with me and a cloudy mist descended upon the mountains. you couldn't see that far in front of you and there was no contrast on the snow, so you also couldn't tell which way was uphill or downhill. fortunately it only lasted an afternoon, and as i mentioned in my last post from this area, i was just as happy spending my time eating georgian food.
