i don’t have that many regrets for places that i didn’t visit in south america. that was part of my rational for travelling so slowly and spending so long there, i wanted to see as much as i could. however i do wish that i had spent more time in patagonia. i only spent a few days in ushuaia, torres del paine and el calafate before heading back up north. i had good reasons for this, i was with a friend who had less time and we both wanted to be somewhere a little less isolated for christmas. also it was a looong bus ride to get there and back, so that put me off revisiting in the new year. but there are so many amazing mountains and treks that i didn’t get to see, so i do still have it in the back of my mind that i'll visit when i eventually return to the continent.
