the trees have turned black
when i went to namibia in 2017 it was with a couple of friends from work. i spent a lot of time taking photos, as you might imagine, and another friend who had a drone shot a lot of video. it started a running joke in our friendship group as to when he would edit the footage together and create a video, a joke that lasted years until we were resigned that it would never see the light of day. turns out all he needed was a global pandemic to free up some time, as a few weeks ago he finally dropped the video, and it brought back a lot of awesome travelling memories that i'd like to repeat again when it's possible to do so.
