for the company
i took this shot on a lunch break on a 12 hour taxi journey from the capital of kygryzstan to the southern city of osh. the driver, my friend and i as well as the two other passengers all sat outside and ate a traditional kyrgyz lunch together. part way into the meal we were joined by this guy, another local taxi driver, who started dissecting and offering a cantaloupe to every person at the table. it's these small acts of kindness that make the kyrgyz such endearing people.
