when you need directions
this was a local farmer who was working in tegalalang rice terrace in bali, indonesia. my friends and i rode our scooters there to watch the sunrise and then spent the next few hours exploring the beautiful area. it became fairly busy where we parked up by the road, but this was one of the few humans we met when we went deeper into the terraces. the peacefulness was so nice that at one stage we set headspace going on my phone and spent ten minutes meditating. i'd only ever done that before in the meeting room in my office, so even though the competition wasn't particularly strong, it was definitely the most serene meditative experience i've ever had.
