as an epilogue awaits
i took this shot a couple of months ago, about half an hour before i photographed people on millenium bridge, and i immediately liked the frames contained within frames aspect of it. however all the lines in the shot began to annoy me, no matter how i rotated the picture i would find that either the lamppost would look wonky, or the bridge wouldn't look straight, or some other detail just made it look visually unsatisfying. so i got stuck in a loop of revisiting and then dismissing the image as i made incremental tweaks which were almost certainly close to imperceptible. i think i'm satisfied with this final version, but to be honest i'm more satisfied with breaking out of that cycle.
