i'll still destroy you
here's another peacock photo from holland park, taken a couple weeks after the last animal shot i posted from there. this time i returned on a saturday when there were considerably more people walking around, which didn't seem to bother this peacock so much. however when this pigeon dared to get too close, the peacock fanned out his feathers and rattled them towards the smaller bird in a show of territorial intimidation. it was almost cartoonish to see the little pigeon scamper away while this colourful bird grew into an imposing beast behind.
