taken broken up to the mountain
this is the second of a trio of mountain pictures i took in early 2020 when i was snowboarding in georgia. i posted the first yesterday when i discovered that the main guy from low roar, a band i listened to on repeat on that trip, passed away. i was due to see them play in london this time last year, but the gig was postponed until april as a result of covid. then in april they had to postpone their tour again, and the concert was rescheduled for next thursday. so on a selfish level it's sad that i never got a chance to see them live, but on a more emapthetic level it's even sadder that he couldn't perform the latest record to his fans. apparently the band spent that uncertain time working on another album, so i'm grateful that a little bit more of their amazing music will make its way into the world.
