go farther in lightness
this is rosa, a two year old romanian rescue dog that my sister took in a couple of months ago. last weekend was the third time i'd been to her house to dogsit, and when i say her house i'm referring to rosa. it's very much her territory, which was made abundantly clear when i first stepped foot inside and was met by suspicious and protective growls. outside of the house she's chilled out and playful but within the property lines she only wants people she can trust. this made for a tense atmosphere for the first couple of days we were hanging out. but with a mixture of affection, charm and dog treats i slowly began to gain her trust. so it felt all the more rewarding when on monday morning she greeted me with a friendly howl, a wagging tail and gross face licks
