i can hear you through my eyelids
the weather changed quite drastically in the short time i spent on st andrew's bay in south georgia. when i first started walking around it was pretty clear with the mountains and water visible in the background. however the mist and fog rolled in to begin obscuring the surroundings as features disappeared from view. while this hindered wide, expansive photography it did make it easier to isolate the subjects. which is why the silent interaction between these two king penguins looks like it was shot in a studio.
