i woke up in the snow
in addition to taking pictures of the falling snow at portal point in antarctica, the only other subject of real interest was this weddell seal who was chilling by itself. to be honest it was so chilled that it lay motionless asleep for most of the time we shared together. but just before i got back on a wet zodiac, while i was knee deep in snow, it roused and lifted it's head towards the heavens.
