so the last time i quit my country and bought a one way ticket to go travelling i landed in brazil, and the first (ok actually second, this was the first) photo i posted was of some kids playing football on the beach. fast forward to present day and there’s a nice symmetry that when i walked to a ‘beach’ in mumbai a few kids followed along and began showing off their football skills. now there’s some obvious differences between the two situations, football culture is obviously far bigger in brazil compared to india. also the quality of the beaches in mumbai are incomparable to rio de janeiro, the amount of trash that littered this little bay was depressing. but the innocent joy of the locals kicking a ball around is a universal pleasure to experience.
