keep your lantern on
after spending a lot of time in taipei in the north of taiwan i took a train down south to the city of tainan. my main reason for visiting was to use it as a jumping off point to explore a bit more of the nature in the middle of the country, but i also enjoyed walking the streets and exploring a different city. it's far more walkable than taipei, and within the city shennong street was by far the most photogenic one that i found, adorned with glowing, colourful lanterns.
i walked up and down the street a few times, here's another shot from one of the branching alleyways
