leaves on the tarmac
as soon as i came back from my three week holiday in south america i noticed that the weather was a lot colder compared to before i went away. it felt like summer had definitely passed, but it wasn't until i was walking home from the brendan benson gig that i felt like autumn had come in as a replacement. in between it had just been a bit miserable and cold, however last week the wind was blowing loads of golden leaves from the trees and, coupled with the warm streetlights, produced an autumnal glow. since i had my slr with me i tried my best to shoot it, however i was hindered by the late hour and the lack of tripod. i couldn't manage to capture the swirling leaves in a sharp image, but i did quite like the look that this car gave the fallen ones.
