blood on the wall
i don't know whether i should offer any explanation for this image, i feel like i should, but at the same time i think it's more powerful when you have to use your imagination...
oh alright then. i took this in tiwanaku in bolivia, and yes it is blood splatter on the wall, but it's nothing too sinister. apparently it's a local custom, after building a new house, to sacrifice an animal as a kind of prayer or blessing. at least that was the story i was told, whatever your imagination came up with may still be true.
