igloo
i said the other day that my reason for a week off from posting was because i was stacked out at work, every day and every night. well that's not entirely true, as last tuesday i was just about to leave the house when i got a phonecall to say that due to the weather, no one with keys could make it into the office. miracle! i managed to do some work from home, but i wasn't anywhere near as productive as i would have been in the office. i went to the pub in the afternoon for a cheeky pint, which soon turned into two, which later turned into a few more, a few games of bullshit, a meal, a few more pints before stumbling out at nightime. it was clear that others had a more productive tuesday as i witnessed this igloo being built from the ground up while i was steadily supping my ale.
this is actually a combination of two photos, as i preferred the expression of the girls' face in one, and the rest of the shot in the other. to be honest getting two shots i liked from a drunken, hand-held long exposure shot is a feat in itself. anyway, as is the norm, here's (one of) the originals
