looking southeast
this is a similar shot to looking south, but then i took a lot of shots from the top of the empire state building. everyone else up there did as well, so i can say with some certainty that this isn't the most original shot either. meh. just because a bunch of people have taken the same shot before is no reason to not take one yourself, otherwise you miss out on shots you really like. i decided to post this as i just printed and framed the aforementioned looking south image in my lounge. well, i actually got it printed before christmas, but it's taken me this long to find the time to go to ikea and pick up a frame. journeys like that are much more of an arseache when you haven't got a car, and what your buying won't fit on the back of a bike. i got the photo blown up to a2, but now wish i'd gone for a1. actually, i wish i could have afforded to print it onto canvas, but i ain't made of money.
