then the snow started falling - extra image
it was a couple of weeks ago that people around england started to get excited about our annual 'snow falling from the sky' event. it took a few days for the white stuff to travel down to the sky above my head, so when it did i rushed out to the garden with my camera. i then retreated to the safety of indoors and waited for snowmageddon which the media had promised would devastate our way of life. you can imagine my disappoint therefore when i watched each snowflake melt into the grass and my way of life remained impudently unchanged. i guess the weather controller was just easing us in gently as the snowfall did increase over the days that followed, although i found it was less snowpocalyptic and more, well y'know, pretty. i guess that's why i don't work in the media.
