so on the weekend i was driving a mate who was picking up his new car, when some clown pulled out on me at a roundabout and i went straight into the side of him. we both got out of our cars, angry at each other's perceived wrongs but before we got a chance to say anything a police car came by. they asked us to move out of the way, the other guy drove off to a nearby bus stop, but when i hit the gas i discovered i couldn't move. my front wheel was at a crooked angle, and it looked as thought the axle was bent. consequently i was stuck on the roundabout and had to wait for a recovery vehicle to take the car to a garage. someone from my insurance had a look a few days later and pronounced it dead, or not 'economically viable' to fix. so that was that. my first car, which i'd had for over four years, was now replaced with a cheque. truth be told it wasn't exactly in brilliant shape, but it's annoying to think that on saturday morning it was working fine, and by saturday lunchtime it was written off. i went to collect my junk from inside it today so i took a last picture. farewell marv - this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you...
