if the silence takes you - extra image
so a couple of weeks ago i said that i had spent some time processing my foreign photos and i'd post them in themes with a week of portrait shots, animal shots and then landscape photos. at the time it was a good plan as i had a bunch of portraits ready to go, a bunch of animal shots half done and, well, i figured i had two weeks to scrape together some landscape photos. as landscape pictures are probably my favourite of the three i assumed it would be easy to pick seven to post, however i discovered the inverse is true as i like to spend the time to turn them into favourites and make them as good as possible. i'm now torn between dedicating the time to extract beautiful landscapes from my raw files and keeping the momentum of posting a shot a day. so i'll either upload a picture which i'm not super happy with or skip a day in the very near future. or, as is the case today, find a photo which i am happy with and requires almost zero post processing. if i was a better photographer (or easier to please) i'd have a lot more pictures like that.
