this is the view if you look up on 20 fenchurch street - a new building in london also known as the walkie-talkie due to it's weird, top-heavy shape. it's a pretty cool, distinctive building which at one stage during the construction acted as a huge weapon, reflecting the sun from its concave surface to melt cars on the streets below. you could even get enough reflected heat to fry an egg. the same effect occurred with another building the architect built in las vegas, but he claimed he didn't realise london was going to be so hot. fair point. they subsequently fitted a screen to the incriminating side of the building which counteracts the power of earth's yellow sun - so london is back to being cold again.
