step out into the light
as i mentioned before i left, i did very little planning for my trip to kyrgyzstan, so i relied a lot on recommendations. a guy called rico in karakol suggested taking a taxi to jeti oguz where you can find mountains, horses and waterfalls. we drove up the mountain towards the waterfall and sure enough there were a troop of horses. as we slowed down i looked out the window and saw this one emerge from the woodland forest. i managed to quickly get this shot away before it moved out of frame, and then i jumped on the horse and rode up the mountain to the waterfall. rico's story checked out.
