across the water
back in february i began posting photos from my trip last year to the falkland islands, south georgia and the antarctic peninsula. after a little break, which was mainly filled with dogs, i'm going to start posting the next batch. starting with a place i didn't mention above - argentina. i took this photo from the plane window as we were coming down to land in ushuaia, and i must say that travelling by air compared favourably to travelling by bus which i did twelve years prior. a journey that took a mighty 37 hours and included me running after the bus when i'd been left behind at the border.
