a nation of millions
so far i've only been posting individual or small group shots of penguins from south georgia - which might have given the impression that the colonies were fairly sparse. this photo is the unbelievable reality - they dominated the landscape. it truly was a breathtaking sight to behold, and it turned out a fleeting one as they began to fade from view when the fog rolled in.
