hello there, my name is tim, i'm a british photographer based in london and this here is my photoblog.
it began life back in october 2005, a few months after i got my first digital camera. i knew how to make websites, and i was enjoying taking pictures, so i put this together as a little experiment with the intention of posting a new photo everyday.
whilst i was unable to keep up with the daily posts, i did keep shooting and slowly my photography began to improve. perhaps the most significant event that happened since i started this project was my first trip to south america in 2009. i realised how much i enjoyed travelling and in 2010 i quit my job and would spend the next two years exploring the continent with my camera.
the quality of my pictures improved dramatically, i think it's fair to say i found south america far more photogenic than where i was living in yorkshire. i returned to the uk in 2012 with a passion for travelling and photography stronger than ever.
i moved to london the following year, and i continue to travel to new, far off places with my camera as much as possible.
