move out of the searchlight - extra image
the first trip i went on in madagascar was to the west coast and a trek in tsingy de bemaraha national park. it's full of amazing landscapes, which i'll illustrate soon as i've now completed my weeks of people and animals. of course we were still on the look out for any animals we could see, and we were lucky to discover this family of bamboo lemurs. well i say we, but in fairness all of our group including the guide walked straight past them, and it was only my mate who saw the movement in the trees. he peaked with this find, and failed to spot any other wildlife in the next few weeks, but credit where it's due it was a very special find.
