at the bottom of the world - extra image
this is one of the first photos i took when i landed on damoy point, home of the bickering gentoo penguins. damoy point is both in the northern part of the antarctic peninsula, and also the most southernly point on the globe i think i will ever set foot on. it really is so remote, and it was a privilege to be one of the lucky few to visit.
