i was considering putting this up in black and white, but it i've been processing a few other shots that way and felt like an injection of colour would be a nice change. plus you can't beat a deep blue sky, or should i say aqua blue, or whatever colour i've changed it too. sometimes i feel like it's cheating a bit to not make changes to the photo, which of course is ridiculous as it should mean that the original is better for it. anyways with this i had to play around with levels and masks in order to get the shadow that bit lighter on the statue face. and i even threw a bit of hdr into the mix. all just before midnight so i can keep my 'one a day' streak going. i only managed it with seconds to spare this time.
