we are chained here to the ground - extra image
this is cristo de las basuras, a sculpture by salvador dali which lies in his backyard in port lligat in northern spain. as with the previous image i posted from dali's abode, i went rather overboard on the post processing. i felt that the original looked a little flat so i went for a tilt-shifted end of days style - which is something i just made up. again, like the other dali image, i've included a video version of the different stages of creation. at some point i think i'd like to figure out how to record my computer screen whilst i'm processing a photo so i can make a true video from original image to final result. i'll add that to my to-do list for 2014.
