stadium love
i've already posted a few of these kind of shots on the blog which makes me reluctant to add to the collection if they're not markedly different. i could argue that i haven't posted a daytime, colour stadium photo before... i could highlight the inclusion of the flag celebrating arsenal's 49 game unbeaten run... but the real reason i'm posting it is because i'm so happy that 90 minutes after i clicked the shutter we beat tottenham. the atmosphere around the ground was electric, and it's been a while since i've seen the crowd (and the players) so up for it. plus the mood around the club was so closely tied to the result that a loss would really have had a very damaging effect. as it is in the last week we've qualified for the champions league, beaten our local rivals and (it seems) made a club record signing of mesut özil. it's an unfamiliar sensation but today is a good day to be (ooh-to-be) a gooner
