head full of stars
judging from my previous two photos i can see how you may assess my trip to poland as being a very serious, sombre affair. while that's certainly true of the visits to historical sites and museums, outside of that i had a lot of fun. i met some cool people, saw some impressive buildings, witnessed andy murray win his first ever wimbledon - plus i consumed close to my body weight in vodka. in fact one night it was so excessive that i still have significant chunks of amnesia regarding what happened. i remember i was laughing and joking with my mate when a friend of a friend of my mate suddenly took offence assuming we were laughing at him. we tried to defuse the situation as best we could and made a hasty and slightly awkward exit. after that i have no idea what transpired, but if i work on the assumption that time is linear then there's about an hour which i can't account for before we stumbled back into the hostel. so it's probably more accurate to say i think i had a lot of fun - but while i may not recall the details i do remember endlessly repeating the phrase na zdrowie
